The Cosmic Distance Ladder Explained: Radar, Parallax, and Redshift

The cosmic distance ladder is a sequence of four linked measurement techniques — radar ranging, stellar parallax, standard candles, and cosmological redshift — where each step supplies the baseline for the next, letting astronomers map distances from 150 million kilometres to billions of light-years.

The Frost Line Explained: Why Rocky and Gas Giant Planets Form Where They Do

The frost line is the boundary in a protoplanetary disk where temperatures drop low enough for water ice and other volatiles to condense. Inside it, only rock and metal survive, building small dense planets. Outside it, abundant ice triggers the growth of massive gas giants. This single invisible line shaped every world in our solar system.
Monty Hall problem

The Monty Hall Problem Explained: Why Switching Wins 2/3 of the Time

The Monty Hall problem shows that switching doors wins 2/3 of the time, not 1/2. Because the host deliberately avoids the car when opening a door, your original door keeps its 1/3 odds and the other door absorbs the remaining 2/3 probability. Switching is the mathematically correct move.

F.A.Q

Your Questions, Answered

No. Advanced coding isn’t required. While basic familiarity with Python is helpful, the IOAI primarily tests mathematical foundations, algorithms, and problem-solving—not programming.

Both. You’ll study rigorous mathematical theory in video lessons, then apply it to practice problems modeled on IOAI challenges.

The IOAI is one of the newest official international science Olympiads, launched to reflect the importance of AI in research and education.

Focus on probability, statistics, linear algebra, and optimization, plus applied problem-solving in AI-related areas. Our program integrates all these topics.

The Olympiad typically includes a written exam, problem-solving tasks, and practical applications. Each section is scored separately and contributes to the overall result.

Students in high school (Grades 9–12) are eligible, typically under the age of 20. Official eligibility rules are set by the IOAI each year.

Our mastery-based structure combines in-depth video lessons, a question bank with Olympiad-style problems, and an interactive platform where you can run code and check results. This model lets you learn independently while practicing the exact skills needed for success in the IOAI.
