Welcome to Intellia Academy. These Terms of Service explain your rights and responsibilities when using our website intelliaedu.com and learning platform. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

Our Services are primarily designed for students in Grades 3–12 and are available to users in multiple countries, subject to applicable local laws.
Students may access our programs subject to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any age or parental-consent requirements that apply in their country or region.

Students aged 13 and older may generally create an account directly, except where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent at a higher age.
Students under 13 may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must create or authorize the account and provide any consent required by applicable law.
In jurisdictions where parental consent is required for users aged 13 or older, the applicable local age threshold will apply.
All paid subscriptions and purchases made by minors must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.

We comply with applicable privacy and child-protection laws in the jurisdictions where our Services are offered, including applicable Canadian privacy laws, the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where applicable, and applicable data-protection laws in the European Economic Area and other regions.

By creating or using an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
Accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Use your account only for your own personal, educational use.
Not share, transfer, sell, or resell access to your account.

2. Subscriptions, Free Lessons, and Payments

2.1. Free Lessons: Intellia Academy offers one or more introductory lessons at no cost. Free lessons allow you to preview our platform and course content before subscribing. No payment method is required. To unlock full access to each Olympiad program, a paid subscription is required.

2.2. Subscriptions and Billing:

Access to complete Olympiad preparation programs (e.g., Economics Olympiad, AI Olympiad) is available via recurring subscription (monthly or annual).
Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current subscription price unless cancelled before the next renewal date. Billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be disclosed before purchase.
Annual subscriptions may include discounted pricing (equivalent to free months).

2.3. Payment Processing:

We use third-party payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

2.4. One-Time Purchases:

Some individual courses (e.g., Microeconomics, Game Theory) may be offered as standalone purchases. These are lifetime-access products but do not include other courses in the Olympiad track.

2.5. Cancellation and Refunds:

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable, and no partial refunds or credits are provided for unused subscription periods or content.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content owned by Intellia Academy, including but not limited to the Intellia Academy logo, website design, curriculum, videos, text, and problem banks is our exclusive property, protected by copyright and trademark law.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Services for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.

You may not copy, share, modify, or redistribute our content without written consent.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Share or resell your account access.
Engage in academic dishonesty or cheating.
Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access our content.
Attempt to disrupt, hack, or compromise the platform’s security.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, misuse the Services, engage in fraud or security violations, or where required by law. Where appropriate, we may provide notice before termination.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Our Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
While our programs are designed to prepare students for Olympiads and contests, we do not guarantee medals, university admissions, or competition results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Intellia Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the total fees paid by you to Intellia Academy during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable advance notice, and where required by applicable law, obtain any additional consent required before the changes take effect.
